PROPER FRACTIONS
-the numerator is less than the denominator
example: 1/3, 6/7, 4/10
IMPROPER FRACTIONS
-the numerator is greater than the denominator
example: 8/7, 13/2, 5/3
***EQUIVALENT FRACTIONS
-Equivalent fractions name the same number but use different terms.
